The police dash cam video shows the highway patrol officer running towards the driver's side window with his firearm drawn and aimed it at the man's head after he pulled the car over near Queanbeyan.

- Closer to home, the ACT Brumbies will find out today if winger Joseph Tomane will be fit enough to play in their must-win final regular season Super Rugby game next weekend.

Road closures:
8.27am: Stage three of the pavement upgrades on Wentworth Avenue in Kingston have begun. The ACT government says the following traffic disruptions will likely be in place until September:
· Wentworth Avenue southbound will be reduced to a single lane from Gosse Street to Dawes Street
· Eyre Street and Giles Street closed to through traffic where they intersect with Wentworth Avenue (only one of these intersects will be closed at any time)
· There will be no left hand turn into or out of Eyre Street and Giles Street for southbound traffic on Wentworth Avenue.
Motorists can expect traffic disruption in Lyneham today due to work on a burst water main.
