Regular visitors to the National Gallery of Australia may find something missing for the next short while.
Blue Poles, the gallery's star attraction that's usually seen hanging in all its abstract expressionist glory in a 12-metre high gallery space, has been taken off display.
- Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed last year after it was hit by a Russian-made missile, an investigation has found, which killed the pilots immediately but may have left passengers alive for up to a full minute and a half.

The crash has blocked part of the intersection, while Taverner Street is closed at Laurens Street.
