Welcome to another working week. We're looking at a beautiful Tuesday with a minimum of five degrees and maximum of 24.
Let's take a look at what's making headlines today.
58 dead, more than 500 injured after Las Vegas shooting
A lone shooter has opened fire at a country music festival in Las Vegas, carrying out the deadliest mass killing in US history.
A lone gunman, identified by Las Vegas police as 64-year-old retiree Stephen Paddock, began firing from a hotel room on the 32nd floor of the neighbouring Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino into the 30,000 people below at the Route 91 Harvest festival.
In terrifying footage of the incident, the sound of bullets could be heard over music, which quickly cut out as people screamed and ran for cover or lay on the ground.
More on this horrible event here.
Comcare's efforts "unconscionable"
A tribunal has slammed Comcare's behaviour as unfair and unconscionable after it tried to recoup payments to an ACT government employee involved in a workplace bullying dispute.
Former refugee Charles Koker, employed by the territory's Community Services Directorate at the Bimberi Youth Detention Centre, was ordered to pay back more than $10,000 after receiving incapacity payments in 2015.
In a strongly worded decision handed down last month, Administrative Appeals Tribunal deputy president Gary Humphries said Comcare had used "unethical tactics" and required the insurer to pay Mr Koker's costs for the case.

RMC staff discharged for steroid use, MDMA
Staff at Duntroon Royal Military College were sacked after testing positive for steroid use and MDMA.
But Duntroon's results stand in stark contrast to the Army base in Townsville, where almost 80 staff have been discharged for drug use since 2012.
Crime reporter Steven Trask also reports there were no positive drug tests recorded at the college between 2011 and 2014.
The data was released by Defence under freedom of information laws. Read Steven's story here.
Weston Creek residents suffer discoloured water
This one's pretty gross. Weston Creek residents have been battling discoloured water since Sunday night.
Han Nguyen spoke to a resident who complained to Icon Water after drawing a brown bath for her 20-month-old.
A damaged water main was identified as the cause of discoloured water and a foul smell in the Gungahlin area last week.

ICYMI - snakes battle it out for love
Han Nguyen has done the dirty work on this one and determined a trio of snakes spotted in Tidbinbilla were fighters, not lovers.
Three eastern brown snakes were filmed battling it out in a display of masculinity aimed at winning a mate.
The video accompanying this story is equal parts mesmerising and horrifying.
