A Casey man has been prohibited from accessing social media and dating sites after he was charged with possession of child pornography.

Craig James Currie, 36, was charged in the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday with using the internet to solicit child pornography between July last year and last month, and intentionally possessing child pornography on April 17.
No plea was entered.
The defendant's bail was not opposed by the prosecution but a detailed list of conditions were agreed to, including the need to report to ACT Policing every day, surrender his passport and not contact certain people.
"He is not to use the internet for anything other than work or banking purposes, not to use any social media or instant messaging platforms or applications, including those associated with Snapchat, Kik or ooVoo, he's not to use Instagram, Skype or Facebook and not to create any new email accounts or social media accounts," Magistrate Beth Campbell said.
The matter was adjourned to Tuesday, April 28.
