The man was reportedly working from form work at Hindmarsh's "Altitude" construction site on Chandler Street in Belconnen before 7.45am.
He fell and suffered minor injuries, prompting calls to the ACT Ambulance Service.
They arrived to find him conscious in the first aid room, transferring him to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
The circumstances leading up to the fall are still unclear.
WorkSafe ACT and the construction union are investigating.
Today's accident follows two serious incidents in Kingston in the past week.
Concreter Ben Catanzariti, 21, died after being hit by a concrete boom at a Kingston site on Saturday morning.
Just days later, a worker was hospitalised after falling and spearing his leg through a concrete reinforcement bar.
The latest accident is likely to intensify union anger over the safety issues plaguing the ACT construction industry.
The ACT Government promised a full audit of construction practices earlier this week.
