The man, aged in his 20s, did not ask for bail when he faced the ACT Magistrates Court.
Chief Magistrate Lorraine Walker told the accused man from the bench that he was being charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, inflicting actual bodily harm with intent to engage in sexual intercourse and breaking a domestic violence protection order.
The court was told the man did not want to make a bail application, but intended to apply for bail on Monday.
The accused man was on bail at the time of the alleged crimes and was already facing 24 charges.
