The man who murdered Canberra woman Daniela D'Addario made dozens of internet searches, including about murder, chemicals to knock people out and videos of rape, court documents reveal.

Josaia Vosikata, 29, strangled his former girlfriend to death in her Bruce apartment in April last year before placing her body in the boot of a car and driving to the NSW south coast.
He pleaded guilty to her murder in March and is due to be sentenced next month.
Court documents reveal Vosikata became increasingly obsessed with the 35-year-old after she ended their two-month relationship in March last year.
"The accused could not accept that the relationship was over and began to obsess about the deceased," according to an agreed statement of facts. "The accused would often observe the deceased in her unit from outside. He lived very close to the unit and could easily do this."
Vosikata sent her dozens of text messages in the days before the murder.
Ms D'Addario repeatedly asked him to stop harassing her, but the messages continued.
Nine days before the murder, he allegedly went to her apartment and attempted to molest her as she slept, the documents said.
Vosikata left after she called police and she had her locks changed the next day.
After he continued to contact her, Ms D'Addario emailed him, pleading to be left alone.
"Joey Please listen to me ... I do not want to be your friend, I do not want to ever see you again, i do not want to talk to you. Do not send me emails or texts or try to call me. Do not come to my house. I have an open complaint with the AFP about you stealing my key breaking into my house and trying to rape me," she wrote.
"If you contact me on [sic] anyway once more then I will be going to the court that will force you to stay away from me. Leave me alone!"
Three days before the murder, Vosikata had searched the internet for information about chemicals to knock people out, how to kill and how to break in, the documents show.
He continued searching the internet the next day including for "videos of girls being raped" and how to open locked doors.
On the morning of April 19, Vosikata went to his former girlfriend's apartment.
Once inside, he strangled her to death and indecently interfered with her corpse, the documents say.
After the murder, Vosikata went home, had lunch with his mother and watched TV, before returning to the apartment in the early hours of April 20.
He had planned to take her body to the south coast and had searched the internet for information about Batemans Bay, murder and suicide.
Vosikata sparked a huge search and was eventually captured near Bermagui on April 23.
In a police interview, he admitted killing Ms D'Addario and claimed they had an argument, saying he had tried to reason with her "before becoming angry and losing control", the documents say.
The case came before the ACT Supreme Court on Friday for a disputed facts hearing relating to a charge of trespass.
The hearing centred on whether Vosikata trespassed on Ms D'Addario's apartment the day of the murder and if he went with a bottle of Rapid Fixer, a liquid used to process photographs, with the intention of incapacitating her.
Prosecutor Jon White alleged Vosikata had formed a plan to "do [Ms D'Addario] harm", in what was described as "revenge of a jilted lover".
Defence lawyer Paul Edmonds said the evidence fell short and could not be proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
He said there were no signs of forced entry and Vosikata had not formed an intention to kill Ms D'Addario in the way he did until after he was inside the apartment.
Justice John Burns reserved his decision, but indicated he would hand it down before Vosikata's sentencing next month.
