In addition, three 18-year-old provisional drivers lost their licenses over the weekend for being caught driving more than 40km/h over the speed limit.
Between January 24 and 27, 21 Canberrans were taken into custody for exceeding the blood alcohol limit during roadside breath tests.
Four of those taken into custody were repeat drink-driving offenders.
In comparison, the drink-driving blitz over the 10-day Christmas period, police arrested 28 Canberrans for drink-driving, just seven more than were nabbed over the weekend.
One Gungahlin driver registered a reading of 0.209, four times the legal limit, after being involved in a collision on Hibberson Street late on Sunday night.
ACT Policing also issued 60 traffic infringement notices and 33 cautions over the weekend, and suspended the licenses of three 18-year-olds caught driving irresponsibly.
One young male driver was caught traveling at 151 km/h on the Monaro Highway, a 100 km/h zone.
He was fined $1,811 and lost 12 demerit points, his entire license.
Traffic Operations acting station sergeant Tracey Duck said it was clear some some drivers weren't getting the message about road safety.
“The results show that some drivers are still taking risks on Canberra roads and it’s just lucky there were no major traffic incidents over the weekend,” Sergeant Duck said.
“The combination of these drivers’ excessive speeds and driver inexperience, can place their own lives and the life of every other Canberra road user in danger.”
There were no casualties over the long weekend and the 2014 ACT road toll stands at zero.
