Police seized a car and a small amount of drugs after a teenage driver failed to stop in Gordon early on Wednesday morning.
Police tried to stop a white Holden Commodore station wagon speeding down Woodcock Drive in Gordon at about 1.50am.
The driver did not stop when police turned on their lights and sirens, and sped away on Clare Dennis Avenue and through Gordon.
Police said the Holden then went on to side-swipe a blue Holden Astra near the intersection of Knoke Close and McGilvray Close.
The car then stopped and five people got out and ran away. Police arrested two of the occupants, the 16 year old driver and 17 year old man.
Police then searched the car and found a small amount of illicit drugs including a substance suspected to be methylenedioxy-methamphetamine (MDMA) and cannabis.
Police seized the drugs and the car.
Police are urging witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
