Fyshwick crash sends two women in their 20s to Canberra Hospital

Firefighters and intensive care paramedics treated two female patients, aged in their 20's following a single vehicle crash on Canberra Ave, Fyshwick, on Sunday morning.

ACT Fire and Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service used hydraulic rescue tools to free the driver who was trapped and has been treated for a fractured leg.

The second patient was not trapped in the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries .

Both patients were taken to Canberra Hospital.
