When you say ''Black Caviar'' to a model, one would think they would automatically associate that with dinner, but in fact many of the runway stars of Fashfest adhere to a strict training and diet regiment similar to that of the champion racehorse.

However one star is bucking the trend and for the past four days has channelled the supermodels of the '90s - eating burgers after midnight, enjoying a tipple of champagne at the after parties and tucking into crispy bacon at breakfast.
Former Miss Universe Australia finalist Asher Crawford, the girl from Perth with a smile to warm the chilliest Canberra night, has enjoyed the ''real and relaxed'' nature of the capital's inaugural Fashion Week event.
In the lead-up to night three of Fashfest she gave Fairfax Media a peek into her pre-show routine which involved keeping up her university studies and spending quality time with her partner, Wallabies great Nathan Sharpe.
The 24-year-old bubbly blonde, who has been modelling since she was scouted by an agent as a teenager, says her only rule on show day is ''crispy bacon at breakfast and a brisk walk''.
''Some of the other models have looked surprised when I order my show day breakfast which consists of a massive plate of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon on sourdough. Plus a fresh juice and skim cappuccino,'' she says.
''I call bulls--t on all those supermodels like Miranda Kerr who claim that meditation, Goji berries and getting up early makes them happy. If you put a glass of red wine, chips and chocolate in front of me, that's my happiness right there.
''I just run that little bit harder or go harder in my Body Attack classes to make sure I'm covered should a bikini situation arise.''
After a big lunch, a brisk walk exploring the inner south and a ''little lay down'', Crawford packs her bags for the big night ahead.
Make-up, hair, fittings and rehearsals see her reporting for duty on site at Brindabella Business Park by 4pm every day. She travels with a kit - a large Louis Vuitton tote - containing everything from spare underwear, flat shoes, a copy of Vogue, lollies and nuts.
Crawford said she was impressed with the line-up of Canberra models Fashfest organisers booked for the four-night event.
''All of the girls are beautiful, real women - it's good to see clothes by these amazing designers showcased how they should look in real life. No one is a starving, grumpy size zero.''
