Now, before you start thinking a circle of Morris dancers frolicking on her back, Holly has gone a more elegant route.
To mark the fact the 23-year-old has attended every National Folk Festival since she was 16 months old, she recently had the festival flags and NFF inked on to her left forearm. It's her sixth tattoo.
To her, the folk festival has always been a chance for family to catch up.
''It's our version of Christmas,'' she said.
Her mum, Claudia Cresswell, has been a regular festival-goer herself since she was a teenager. The folk festival started in Melbourne in 1967, was shared around the states and then found a permanent home in Canberra from 1993.
Holly, a performing arts graduate and former Narrabundah College student, grew up in Dickson but now lives in Sydney. She started volunteering at the festival a couple of years ago and will emcee in the Budawang Building at Exhibition Park throughout this year's festival, which runs over Easter from April 5-9. ''I'm so excited,'' she said.
Holly highly recommends festival-goers catch two acts - Scottish outfit Shooglenifty (''It's traditional folk music but they use rock beats and electronic sounds as well'') and American singer Kristina Olsen (''I've been watching Kristina since she was a kid. She's just the most incredible storyteller.'')
