Heavy downpours are expected to hammer the territory and surrounding regions again today, in what is the fourth big dump of rain in less than a week.

The rain could hit as early as this morning, but heavier falls of up to 60 millimetres won't start until the afternoon, the Bureau of Meteorology said. Once the rain hits, it is likely to stay for about 18 hours and up to 100 millimetres of rain is possible, the bureau said.
The rain is expected to ease tomorrow afternoon, and the bureau predicts Monday will be clear.
Duty forecaster Jake Phillips said there could be showers near the coast most days next week, but they won't make it inland to Canberra.
''The risk of flooding lasts for a while after the rain stops because it has to move through the catchments,'' Mr Phillips said.
''In some flood-affected areas there could be warnings out for a few days after the rain, it just depends on how much rain falls over the next day or so. There could be some flash flooding in Canberra with the heavier downbursts, but it's probably more likely you'll just get the sustained flooding of the rivers like you've had around the area.''
Canberra has had more than 160 millimetres of rain this week, the bulk of which fell in the last half of the week. Emergency services in the ACT have responded to 563 calls for help since the rain began, and worked last night to complete outstanding jobs. Queanbeyan SES received almost 100 calls for help because of the wet weather.
While an evacuation warning is still in place for parts of Queanbeyan, the rain in the area has eased and the river was sitting at a minor flooding level at 5.8 metres yesterday.
With more unsettled weather ahead, NSW SES is urging residents to watch out for warnings.
Hundreds of people were forced to evacuate Goulburn, after more than 135 millimetres of rain was dumped on the town this week. Up to 50 millimetres is expected in Goulburn today and another 15 to 25 millimetres tomorrow. Residents also fled their homes in Cooma after more than 120 millimetres of rain was recorded during the week. Another 25 millimetres to 50 millimetres is forecast in Cooma today and another 10-15 millimetres tomorrow.
Senior meteorologist at the bureau Sean Carson said: ''What's very unique about this system is it's so slow moving. Normally you get a change move through in the space of a day or two. This system is basically oscillating for about five days.''
Senior meteorologist with The Weather Channel Dick Whitaker said the main cloud band retreated north yesterday, leaving light showers during the day. But the rain band will return, which is why further rain will develop today and tomorrow.
Meanwhile, after days of anticipation Sydney's Warragamba Dam finally reached 100 per capacity and water was spilling over the wall last night.
Just before 7pm, water began gushing down a 100-metre spillway into a pond below.
The pond acts as an energy dissipater, slowing the water before it flows down the Warragamba River to join the Hawkesbury-Nepean system.
Several kilometres away, the
lookout observatory was packed with more than 100 spectators. Some had been waiting there for more than five hours.
