Police said a large rock was thrown through the windscreen of her car travelling on Northbourne Avenue about 12.55am on Monday.

They said the vehicle was travelling northbound through Lyneham when the rock was thrown by a person standing on the side of the road.
The rock hit the windscreen directly in front of the woman, who narrowly escaped injury.
A woman was lucky to escape injury when a rock smashed through her car windscreen while she drove on Northbourne Avenue.
Police conducted a search of the area for the offender and investigations are ongoing.
