A trip Down Under has been in the pipeline for two years after rugby union brought Josh Daly, Max Carroll, Alex Kane and Pat Camm - three Englishmen and a Welshman - together for the adventure of a lifetime.
There is nothing like a road trip in Australia and a Lions tour was the perfect excuse to see Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road.
It might be cramped, with a dreaded rotation policy determining who gets their own bed and who has to share, but at least they do not have to worry about finding a place to stay - which is lucky because every bed in Canberra has been booked.
Of course, they are confident of a Lions series win but not a clean sweep of the Wallabies.
With only tickets to the last Test - although they are seeing the ACT Brumbies and Melbourne Rebels tour games - they are hoping it will be all-square going into the decider at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
The four lads met at university in the Welsh student town of Swansea and came up with the perfect way to celebrate graduation - sampling Australia's best cask wine, while playing thousands of games of cards in between rugby games.
While their four red jerseys are a dead giveaway they are here for the Lions game, it seems not everyone in Canberra knows who the Lions are.
''We pulled up at the garage and they were like, 'Are you here for the soccer?''' Mr Daly said.
