It's just one idea on how to commemorate the hardship and resilience wrought by the 2003 firestorm in Canberra.
Lawyer Peter Harris, has lived at No.2 Chauvel Circle in Chapman for 39 years.
His house survived the firestorm. However 17 of the 22 homes in Chauvel Circle were destroyed.
The park in the centre of the circular street has been a gathering place since for the residents, both those that rebuilt and those who moved in after the disaster.
Mr Harris has written to Chief Minister Katy Gallagher asking that the park be re-named as a 10th anniversary memorial to the bushfires.
With the permission of their families, he would also like a plaque to be placed in the park with the names of the four people who died in the firestorm.
Mr Harris, 66, likes to visit the park with his 17-month-old sons Peter and Robert.
"From time to time, I meet with other residents," Mr Harris wrote in his letter to the chief minister. "There has been universal acceptance of the need for some sort of park-like memorial complementing the original memorial in Duffy."
Mr Harris said suggestions so far for names for the park included Lucky's Park, after Lucky the koala, the sole survivor in Tidbinbilla's koala enclosure. Lucky became a feisty symbol of survival before eventually passing away in 2008.
Other names suggested for the park include Firefighters Park.
"In recognition of the superhuman effort put in by our firefighters," Mr Harris wrote.
Bushfire Park and Firestorm Park had also been suggested.
A spokesman for Territory and Municipal Services confirmed the park in Chauvel Circle was unnamed.
He said a submission could be made to the Place Names Committee which is co-chaired by historian Dr Jay Arthur and ACT surveyor-general Bill Hirst.
