From 6pm Wednesday, prospective undergraduates can check if they have a university place from the Universities Admissions Centre, at www.uac.edu.au
The majority of university places are offered in the main round – last year amounting to 50,814 offers or 53 per cent of total offers.
Details of minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks and vacancies for the February round of offers will also be made available by UAC at this time.
To be included in February Round 1, applications must be submitted by Tuesday 27 January. Existing applicants can change their course preferences for the February round from January 21 until midnight on January 27. February Round 1 offers will be released at 6pm on Tuesday 3 February. Last year, universities made 8,718 offers in this offer round.
Applications for undergraduate study in first semester close on Friday February 20 but UAC advises
applicants not to leave it this late to apply or change their preferences as not all institutions will make offers in later rounds and not all courses will still have vacancies for semester 1.
