A man in his 20s has been left with head injuries after the vehicle he was driving hit a tree near Murrumbateman on Tuesday morning.

The man has been taken to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
The crash happened shortly after 9am on the Barton Highway, heading southbound from Murrumbateman to Canberra, on the NSW side of the border.
Both lanes were reopened at 11.30am after the road was completely blocked for at least two hours in the morning, and traffic backed up on the road.
NSW Ambulance said paramedics were still assessing the man on the scene at 10.25am.
The area is well known for crashes with at least three others in just over a month.
Earlier in March, an 83-year-old pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a truck on the Hume Highway near the Barton Highway intersection.
A woman was taken to hospital with neck injuries after she was trapped in her car in a four-vehicle crash on the Barton Highway on the same day.
On February 19, a woman was injured after she crashed her car off the Barton Highway.
