Daniel Van Eyle, 23, of Gordon, has pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a woman at the Davey Lodge in Acton and another at the McDonald's outlet in Braddon.
A third woman was indecently assaulted at the entrance to the Adina Apartment Hotel in Northbourne Avenue in Braddon.
The acts occurred in the early hours of the morning in May.
He was arrested and has now pleaded guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court.
Van Eyle was due to face Magistrate Lorraine Walker for sentencing on Thursday.
But his lawyer, Paul Edmonds, objected to a psychiatric report on Van Eyle, which was to be tendered in sentencing proceedings.
That prompted a delay to allow the report's author to be questioned.
Later on Thursday, Mr Edmonds made a bail application for his client, meaning he first needed to prove there had been a change of circumstances for Van Eyle since his last shot at release.
Mr Edmonds argued Van Eyle faced a delay and had been on anti-psychotic drugs, which had stabilised his condition considerably.
But Ms Walker rejected the bail application, saying there was no change of circumstances.
That means Van Eyle will remain in custody until December 10, when he is expected to be sentenced.
