As winter hits its stride in the capital, McDonald's and UberEats have joined forces to launch McDelivery in the ACT.

From Wednesday, orders within a 10 minute delivery zone will be available from stores in Mitchell, Dickson, Manuka, Canberra City, Braddon, Woden Westfield and Belconnen, with plans to expand further in the future.

The full menu is available to order, from breakfast items, to McCafe coffees, and burgers, fries, salads, wraps, desserts throughout the day.

There's no minimum spend required, and a $5 delivery fee applies to each order.

The delivery service is part of a national roll-out after successful trials elsewhere in Australia.

But it's been a little slower to arrive in the capital, with UberEats only launching a week ago in Canberra.

More than 70 restaurants are now serving up home delivered meals through Uber's network of cars, including Mejicana, Grease Monkey, Molto Italian, 10 Inch Custom Pizzeria Pâtissez, Bourbon Street Kitchen, Malaysian Chapter and Ostani Bar and Restaurant.

The service runs seven days a week and is expected to soon expand throughout the ACT.

"We're just at the beginning of what Canberra's going to see," Susan Anderson, general manager for the ACT's UberEats, said at the time.

"We're continuing to talk to new restaurant partners and as soon as we have enough restaurants in place then we will open up to all of those areas," she said.
