The 21-year-old was last seen on September 27 at his home in Bonner. Police said they hold grave concerns for his welfare.
Mr Policarpio's father, Will Policarpio, made a direct appeal to his son during a media conference on Monday.
"If you're watching at the moment, or listening we want you to know that we are so worried about you and we want you to come home," Mr Policarpio said.
"If you decide to stay out there, at least let us know that you're safe and well."
Jean Policarpio is described as Asian in appearance, 165cm tall, with black hair and a slim build.
Police and Mr Policarpio's family are urging anyone who may have seen him or has any information about his whereabouts to contact police on 131 444.
"If anyone has any knowledge of his whereabouts or information about his disappearance, we are urging you to please contact the police.
"Help us find our son."
