A 39-year-old man will face court this morning charged with offences related to a series of aggravated burglaries and an aggravated robbery in Canberra clubs during July and August.

The Canberra Irish Club in Weston, the Southern Cross Yarralumla Yacht Club, the Turner Rugby Union Club, the Harmonie German Club and Hotel Kurrajong have been targeted by two men over the past several weeks.
An ATM was taken from the yacht club and a cash redemption machine from the Turner Rugby Union Club.
Police allege that on Wednesday the 39-year-old man went to Hotel Kurrajong, pointed a firearm at an employee's face and demanded cash, fleeing with money and a safe.
The New South Wales resident was arrested in Lyneham and taken to the ACT Watch House.
Members from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations executed search warrants in Scullin and Lyneham, finding and seizing a prohibited firearm and ammunition.
The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday morning charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon, possession of a prohibited firearm, four counts of aggravated burglary and breach of parole.
Police said investigations were ongoing, with one suspected co-offender remanded in relation to other offences.
Acting Superintendent of Criminal Investigations Matt Reynolds said police had been following several significant leads in the investigations.
"These crimes really affect the businesses and staff targeted, and we are pleased to see these offenders off our streets," he said.
"If you commit these types of offences, we will be relentless in our efforts to ensure you are caught and face the full extent of the law."
Investigations are also continuing into related aggravated burglaries.
