Nine-year-old cyclist injured in Flynn accident

A nine-year-old boy was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Winter Street in Flynn on Sunday afternoon.

Intensive care paramedics took the boy, who has minor injuries, to Canberra Hospital after the crash just before 4pm.

It was one of several crashes the ambulance service attended on Sunday.

A man aged in his 40s was taken to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition after a single vehicle crash in Cotter Road about 11.40am.

About 1pm, a 34-year-old motorcyclist with minor injuries was taken to Canberra Hospital after a crash in Brindabella Road.
