An oil spill occurred in Fyshwick on Friday morning following a mishap while a company was loading a transformer on to the back of a truck.

ACT Fire Rescue attended the spill at Cope Sensitive Freight on Mildura Street in Fyshwick around 6am on Friday morning.
Two Hazmat Response teams responded to calls and were later joined by an additional fire safety truck.
Firefighters wore safety gear as a precaution although said the oil itself was no threat to the public.
Firefighters on the scene contained the oil spill from flowing into any storm water drains surrounding the factory.
An spokeswoman said the scene will now be handed over to ACT Worksafe.
Firefighters began leaving the scene around 7.15am.
No public roads have been affected.
