The offender was caught in the act by a resident of the Bellchamber Crescent house and immediately ran away.

He is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, Caucasian, between 175cm and 178cm tall with a stocky build.
He was wearing a royal blue hooded tracksuit top and dark track pants.
Witnesses in the area saw a man matching the description of the alleged burglar running near Hall Place in Banks.
Police have urged anyone who saw the man or can identify him to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
