Power outages closed at least one shopping centre and resulted in traffic disruptions in Canberra's north this afternoon.

ActewAGL confirmed the power outages affected electricity supply in Aranda, Bruce, Jamison and Macquarie for about 50 minutes, from 12.10pm until about 1pm.
The disruption was caused by a tree interfering with power lines.
The outage briefly closed most shops at Jamison Shopping Centre, and ACT police confirmed traffic lights were out on Belconnen Way at the intersection of Bindubi Street and Hayden Drive as a result of the disruption.
