The 33-year-old from Queanbeyan allegedly fled from police at 8.25am, when they attempted to stop the black Nissan Skyline for other traffic offences.
The driver allegedly sped off, and police were forced to give up the chase because of high speeds and the dangerous nature of the man's driving.
A further three pursuits attempting to stop the Skyline occurred at 8.30am, 10.45pm and 11.10pm.
Police were also forced to end those chases due to safety concerns.
Two officers later tried to stop the car while on foot, about 3.35pm on Morrisset Street. Police allege the driver again refused to stop.
The offender is then alleged to have failed to pay for fuel at a service station in Sutton later that night, about 10.20pm.
Authorities arrested the man at a Queanbeyan home on High Street shortly before 8am this morning.
He was charged with Skye's Law, driving whilst disqualified, disobeying police direction, fraud offences for the failure to pay for fuel, and displaying a misleading number plate.
His bail was refused, and he is expected to face court tomorrow.
Police say they have been unable to recover the Black Nissan Skyline, but inquiries are continuing.
