Officers used a search warrant to enter the home in Belconnen on Thursday, and found a .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, two replica handguns, a “conducted energy weapon”, cash and a small quantity of drugs.
A 39-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and ammunition.
He will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A 37-year-old woman was also present during the search.
ACT Policing will wrap up their illicit firearms campaign next week on April 30.
Under the campaign, rewards of up to $5000 are available for information that leads to the recovery of a firearm, or identity of anyone who may be using, keeping or making illicit firearms.
