ACT Policing officers were called to a spot along Hindmarsh Drive near the hospital on Thursday where they identified the body of 69-year-old Latham man Mijo Galinec.

There appeared to be no suspicious circumstances.

Mr Galinec left the general ward of the hospital without being discharged just before midday on March 21.

Police had appealed for public help to find him, citing grave concerns for his wellbeing.
