Amaroo resident Vanessa Burdett has captured this bizarre time of sun, rain and clouds clashing on the Canberran skyline all at once. Yarralumla's Elaine O’Leary recorded her serene morning walks at a time when ducks are the only company; her photos the lone motivation for exercise.
But although winter is here, the deadline for The Canberra Times winter photo competition looms.
To enter for a chance to win a share in $1000 prizemoney, send a maximum of three photos to photocomp@canberratimes.com.au by August 31 as attached JPEG files and include your name, address, phone number, photo title, a description of the photo and the date it was taken.
Photos must be at least 150 kilobytes to a maximum of one megabyte. Visit The Canberra Times website for full terms and conditions.
