Fire fighters have contained a blaze at a pine plantation in Canberra's south.
The slow-moving fire at the Tuggeranong Pine Plantation on the Monaro Highway began before 12.30pm.
Crews used water and foam to contain the flames and were mopping up by about 1.45pm.
Four tankers, two from ACT Fire and Rescue and two from the Rural FireService, extinguished the one hectare blaze.
ACT Fire and Rescue commander Leigh Curtis said the only issue with the fire was its isolated location.
"It was poor access and difficult to put out, but it wasn't going anywhere," he said.
The fire did not threaten any property.
