Two men robbed a taxi driver at night point in the early hours of Saturday morning, police say.

ACT Policing said the taxi driver went to a Garran house about 4.47am, and found two men standing outside.
"The two [men] approached the driver with one entering the rear of taxi and the other the front passenger seat. The man in the front seat pushed the gear stick into the park position while the man in back held a knife to the driver's neck. The driver handed over a sum cash before both offenders left along Robson Street in Garran," police said.
They said both men were Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, with medium builds, and were about 178cm (5'10") tall.
The man in the front seat was wearing a black jacket, red beanie, blue jeans, and light pink gloves while holding a red handled hammer.
The man in the back seat was about 30 years old and wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and holding a black knife that was about 15 centimetres long.
