A teenager will face the ACT Children’s Court today after police found a firearm in a southern Canberra home over the weekend.

Officers from the Tuggeranong Police Station found gun paraphernalia within the home after receiving a report of said equipment on Saturday.
Officers carried out a further search on Sunday, allegedly discovering a firearm and stolen property.
The teenager was arrested, taken to the ACT Watch House and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of stolen property.
The teenager will appear before the ACT Children’s Court today.
