But Jackson Allred's alleged co-offender, Amber Jane Haber, has walked free after prosecutors dropped a conspiracy charge against the 27-year-old.
The sentenced prisoner who allegedly tried to orchestrate the botched burglary from behind bars, Shane Cringle, is also expected to be charged with conspiracy.
Allred, 18, appeared briefly in the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday morning, and Magistrate Karen Fryar formally committed him to stand trial in the territory's higher court.
The teen, who is currently in custody at the Alexander Maconochie Centre, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
The prosecution yesterday offered no evidence to a similar charge laid against Haber, who at the time of the alleged offence was in a relationship with Cringle.
Police swooped on a car carrying Haber, Allred and three other people in the north Canberra suburb of Florey in May this year, taking the passengers into custody.
It was alleged police were acting on information garnered from phone calls coming out of the prison.
According to a police statement of facts, Cringle called Allred, then in the community, and asked him to go to the prisoner's ex-girlfriend's home.
It is alleged Allred said he would ''take it all and will hit everything,'' and added he had ''robbed every c--- out there''.
Cringle was later allegedly heard speaking on the phone to a person trying to describe the location of the premises, and saying the reason to go there was ''to go f---ing get some money''.
Allred's case is due to go before the Supreme Court for a mention next week.
