A teenager accused of exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl in Canberra's north on Monday could be charged with a number of further offences against women, a court has heard.

Magistrate Karen Fryar on Tuesday refused the boy, 17, bail in the ACT Children's Court, but warned police the defendant would be freed if they did not provide stronger evidence at the next hearing.
Police allege a girl was walking her dog about 5.20pm on Monday in Evatt when she was approached by the teen who pulled his pants down and exposed himself.
He then allegedly tried to grab the girl before she screamed and fled the area.
The accused was arrested and charged with one count of committing an act of indecency.
The boy smirked during Tuesday's bail hearing when a police informant outlined the allegations.
When Ms Fryar asked him if he thought it had been funny, the boy replied "I just think that's bulls--t."
The informant said the boy was also a suspect in four similar incidents across the weekend in McKellar, by Lake Ginninderra, and at a University of Canberra residence.
In one incident, two girls were forced to barricade themselves in a bathroom after a man broke into the home, exposed himself and said "I just want to f--- you".
In a statement issued by police, the first incident occurred in a McKellar home shortly before midday on Saturday when a man allegedly entered the laundry of the home, grabbed a woman and indecently assaulted her before fleeing.
About 10 minutes later, another McKellar resident reported a man attempting to gain entry to their home.
He was heard banging on windows and doors, but he couldn't get in and soon left.
Another two incidents were reported on Sunday, one by Lake Ginninderra just after 6pm, when a man rode past a woman and tried to grab her.
Police said he later returned and performed an indecent act in front of her before riding off.
While no charges have been laid, the informant said police were currently collecting statements and evidence in relation to the alleged incidents.
The informant told the court police would make an application to collect finger prints and DNA from the defendant as part of the investigation.
The boy's bail application on Tuesday was opposed by prosecutor Petra Halova.
Defence lawyer Kate Bills argued the case against her client was weak.
Ms Bills said the boy's first night in custody had been a "sobering experience" and he would abide by a curfew if released.
But Ms Halova argued the alleged offending appeared to be escalating, from approaching people on the street to invading homes.
She said the boy could reoffend or interfere with witnesses and evidence if released.
Ms Fryar denied the boy bail as they were serious offences and of "grave concern to the community".
The magistrate said she had concerns the accused would be released back into the vicinity of the alleged offences.
But Ms Fryar told police to act quickly or the boy could be granted bail when he reappears on Friday.
