Four juveniles who tried to steal cash from a Forde cafe alerted the business' owners when they dropped a tin containing money before fleeing the scene.

Police said about 11.10pm on Wednesday, four young males entered the rear of the cafe while the owners were sitting outside at the front of the business.
The group tried to steal the cash float, but dropped the tin and were chased from the scene.
The juveniles were arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House. They will face court on Thursday on charges of aggravated burglary and theft.
Gungahlin Station Sergeant Donna Hofmeier said it was a reminder for businesses to be aware of thieves over the holiday period.
“Thieves are normally opportunistic, they see an opportunity and they take it."
“It is important for businesses to ensure that valuables are properly secured and that money is locked away and out of sight.”
“Businesses should ensure all locks are in working order and that security systems are functioning properly” she said.
