The alleged offenders - two aged 18 and one aged 17 - will face charges in relation to multiple break-ins and thefts from motor vehicles across the Belconnen area over the past month, and police said they will summons two more people in relation to the thefts.

Their arrests follow the execution of two search warrants in Belconnen and one in Macgregor on Tuesday which resulted in the seizure of numerous items suspected to have been stolen.

Police alleged a stolen card was used at multiple stores on a shopping spree at Westfield Belconnen on Sunday, March 8 and have obtained evidence of those transactions.

The two 18-year-old men will appear in the ACT Magistrates Courts on Wednesday. Both will face 22 counts of obtaining property by deception through the use of a credit card known to be stolen.

The third northside youth had been sought on a First Instance Warrant for failing to appear for a previous court undertaking. He will face two counts of obtaining property by deception, and unlawful possession of stolen property.

Police enquiries are ongoing and further offenders are expected to face court in the future.
