At least six cars were broken into in Bruce over the weekend, police say.
Police responded after receiving a number of complaints about damage to cars parked in and around units in Thynne Street and Lampard Circuit.
Owners said a number of items had been stolen including wallets, cash, credit cards, an iPad and sunglasses.
"It is very distressing for the victims to find their vehicles damaged and contents stolen by this mindless act," Superintendent Rod Wilson said.
Superintendent Wilson also asked any other members of the public whose vehicles were damaged over the weekend to contact police on 131444.
Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au.
