Anglos playing the identity card

The other night my plane landed safely at Singapore's Changi airport, all thanks to Xerxes, the Singaporean pilot of Parsi background. I now had five hours to kill and needed something to eat. Like all dinkum Aussies, I headed straight for Maccas. It was great to enjoy a halal Big Mac, especially as I was seated within earshot of other people with my accent. The lady who served us wore a Malay-style hijab, and the Indian-looking bloke next to her has a red dot on his forehead signifying his Hindu faith.
