Canberra's future 100 per cent in our hands

Whether Tony Abbott likes it or not, by 2025, Australia's Parliament House will be 100 per cent powered by renewable energy. While Commonwealth governments have been more than willing to impose their will on the citizens of Canberra, thanks to the ACT government's plan to source 100 per cent of the territory's electricity needs from renewable energy by 2025, the boot might soon be on the other foot.
