Canberra Times Letters to the Editor: Speeding record despite 'effective' measures

I was interested to read in last week's Sunday Canberra Times that we had a record number of drivers booked for speeding offences, raking in $6.5 million in fines. Yet in the same report by Andrew Brown, a "spokeswoman" stated that the ACT's road safety program was supported by a "large body of evidence" that showed that speed and red light cameras were an effective road safety measure.
