I write in relation to the article "ACT at risk of developing leaky building syndrome" (August 29, p2). There is "no risk" of the ACT developing a leaky building syndrome: leaky buildings are already an unacceptable reality. The regulatory framework should be changed post-haste to redress the current inordinately unfair situation from persisting a moment longer.
