There’s still room in Peter Costello’s trap for Malcolm Turnbull

There is a big difference between having a "strong economic narrative" and having a strong economy, but unfortunately for Malcolm Turnbull at the moment he has neither. There are currently 723,100 unemployed people in Australia, the trade deficit with China continues to grow, the gap between those with the most and those with the least is growing, and housing is gobbling up such a large proportion of household budgets that people can't afford to spend in their local economies.
