Bondi's Icebergs provided the backdrop for Maurice Terzini and Lucy Hinckfuss' third official show which showcased their fifth collection – Ten Pieces of Merino wool and knitted cashmere.

Shirtless models with gaffer tape protecting their modesty along with dinner-plate sized sunglasses, oversized silhouettes and exaggerated split ends, took to the runway around the famous dining room to show off the collection that was created in collaboration with The Woolmark Company.

With the show and clothes, Terzini and Hinckfuss wanted to draw references to the Sharpies, the youth gangs who haunted suburbia throughout the late 1960s and 1970s.

The corresponding aesthetic was more fit bogan. Or more succinctly, bogans from Bondi who wear silk blend fabrics and survive off a diet of green juice and regular high intensity interval training, just like the buff male models, recruited by stylist Mark Vassallo, who looked a picture of good health in the deep-cut sleeveless hoodies and high-fashion takes on traditional basketball shorts, drop-crotch pants and well-cut T-shirts.

The fun continued out on the harbour with Dyspnea loading the fashion folk onto a vessel to join their "Pussy Posse".

The Perth designers, Jameen Zalfen and Rachel Mottram, who have previously shown at Perth Fashion Festival and at the Jonas Fernando Pires showroom during Paris Fashion Week in 2014, consistently showcase a collection that appears to be stolen from Marie Antoinette's chambers.

They are yet to meet an inch of faux fur they haven't liked. Fluff and pastel colours have become their trademark. Furry shoes, sheer blouses and R-rated tutus in shades of mauve, blues and pinks waltzed around the boat but the lace dresses with strategically placed fuzz were stand outs.

The label has recently had some cut through in the United States and at home thanks to its target audience and cult-like Instagram following, including Disney stars and YouTubers like Teala Dunn, who wore Dyspnea to the recent MTV Movie Awards, and Lisa Marie Origliasso. The singer and one-half of The Veronicas has been a long time fan of the designer's silk slip dresses.

The hedonistic and "home economic assignments on steroids" vibe to the final day of Fashion Week Australia continued with our most creative duos – Luke Sales and Anna Plunkett – closing out the week. The pair staged their resort collection, Electro Orchid, a show which marked 10 years since Romance Was Born made its on-schedule debut in Sydney.
