While some ladies were campaigning for reporters to "Ask Her More" at the Academy Awards, at the after-parties it was a matter of less being more, clothing that is, with a vast majority of female attendees showing off their fupas in the name of fashion.

The red carpet may have been a cavalcade of subtle shape wear and safe outfit options but the "fat upper pubic area" cemented its place as one of the most alarming trends alongside the underboob, sideboob and sidebutt at the Vanity Fair party.

Models Irina Shayk and Gigi Hadid wore Atelier Versace cut-out "creations". Both of the looks resembled Christmas presents which had been attacked by an 18-month-old with a razor. "You missed a bit" was the dress code for the evening.

"Somebody has to do it, half naked, half dress. Why not me?" Shayk told E! about her ensemble.

She didn't just go sans pants, she also ditched the double sided tape.

"I just used my trainer, you know, I'm working out and that's how everything stays in one place. I'm looking forward to a little bit of dancing and an In-N-Out Burger... I'm really hungry so maybe four," the Russian model who once dated Cristiano Ronaldo bragged.

Jennifer Lopez's legs and flesh coloured "chicken fillets" were on full display in a see-through Zuhair Murad gown.

DJ Zoe Kravitz, daughter of Lenny and model Lisa Bonet, appeared to be wearing a beige bathing suit underneath her Balenciaga lattice dress.

Considering all the mon pubistastic looks are from the upcoming spring collections, bikini season just got a whole lot more terrifying.
