The annual Tony Awards red carpet was a sombre affair in light of the Orlando shooting, however the stars of the stage used the occasion to show their sartorial support for the victims of the weekend's massacre at a popular gay nightclub.

Organisers created a special ribbon to honour the 50 killed and 53 injured in the mass shooting.
Attendees, including Barbra Streisand, Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton and Rose Byrne in custom Thakoon, fashioned translucent ribbon to their couture and suits for the 60th annual awards show held in New York.
Despite the solemn mood, Hollywood heavyweights like Oprah, Streisand and Meg Ryan made rare public appearances.
However Ryan's physical appearance was the talking point of the internet after she took to the stage to introduce a performance by the cast of She Loves Me.
Like Bridget Jones' Diary star Renee Zellweger who shocked the virtual peanut gallery with a "new face" upon her red carpet return in 2014, 54-year-old Ryan was criticised for debuting a "new look" and for wearing an ill-fitting ivory dress with sheer sleeves.
The latest jibes, following speculation about her excessive plastic surgery in 2013, can be added to the list of things the When Harry Met Sally star has no time for.
"I don't pay a lot of attention frankly," she said in an interview with Porter magazine last year when quizzed about of what's written about her.
"There's a lot of hatred in the world today, it's so easy to judge. Imagine being a hater, how stupid! My women friends are not sitting around talking about … well, sometimes there are conversations like that, but the people I value talk about kids growing up, what kind of world they are going into, what we are eating, what we are breathing."
