Some opt for a frozen coke or hot chips, but when it comes to the ultimate hangover cure, it doesn't get better than a giant burger from your local takeaway.

And deep fried aficionado Anthony Ferraro, owner of Little Theo's Takeaway in Kambah, is banking on it.
The passionate takeaway owner, who last year starred in our search for the capital's best potato scallop, has this week introduced a brand new menu at the Carleton Street takeaway that includes edible versions of some of Canberra's most famous locations.
In the starring role is the Mooseheads Hangover Cure - a giant slab of a sandwich stacked with not one, not two but three different cuts of meat: a chicken schnitzel, a Wagyu minute steak and a beef patty. Add a hash brown and lashings of gravy and it's the perfect accompaniment to your "I'm never drinking again" protests after a night on the turps.
"We're expecting to serve most of these at about 3pm on a Sunday," Anthony laughs.
"When most of the people who've actually been to Mooseheads the night before start to surface."
Joining the Mooseheads Hangover Cure on Little Theo's new 'Canberra Love' menu is the Floriade Pizza; a hand-stretched sourdough base with toppings in every colour of the festival's beloved flowerbeds. Think eggplant, red onion, pineapple and zucchini.
"I know what you're going to ask, 'Can you really be an innovator when you own a takeaway?' Anthony says.
"The answer is yes. In this case, I challenged our staff to get creative and combine a deep love for Canberra with the food we do best - and this is what we've come up with."
But perhaps the pièce de résistance on the new menu is the Telstra Tower burger - a 15cm tall burger with the famous "pole" sticking out the top.
It's stacked with double beef patties, double egg, double bacon, quadruple cheese, double house-made potato scallops, lettuce, beetroot and tomato.
"We're starting with three menu items but we're open to suggestions from Canberrans," Anthony says.
"We've already had someone phone and suggest a battered sav in the shape of a Belconnen owl. We're working on it.
"Call in and see us and pitch us an idea."
The Canberra Love menu is available at Little Theo's, at the Carleton Street shops, Kambah, from now until the end of March.
