Police have found cocaine, ecstasy and amphetamine in 46 seizures made after they took an operation targeting drug trafficking to Canberra's entertainment district.

After discovering the drugs on Friday and Saturday, authorities will summon seven people to face court for drug-related offences and 15 people will undergo drug diversion programs.
ACT Policing's drugs team made 30 seizures of cocaine, 15 seizures of MDMA and one seizure of amphetamine.
Detective Acting Station Sergeant Mark Steel said illicit drugs could have catastrophic effects on users, their friends and family.
"Stopping these drugs making it to the streets of Canberra is a priority for ACT Policing," he said.
The seizures followed two days of action targeting the Fyshwick mail exchange, with assistance from Australian Border Force and Australia Post.
Nearly 3000 mail items were scanned and 15 items seized, including cocaine, amphetamine, synthetic cannabis and anabolic steroids.
"There is no safe way to take illicit drugs. Every time you take any substance not prescribed to you, you risk hospitalisation, serious and sometimes long-lasting side effects or death," Detective Steel said.
