Police are searching for a 56-year-old man who has been missing in Namadgi National Park since Wednesday afternoon.

Peter Morris is understood to have gone bird watching in the park about 1pm Wednesday. His car was found locked in the carpark the same night.
Police, State Emergency Service workers, park rangers, search and rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service have been looking for Mr Morris since about 12.30am Thursday, focusing on an area south of the visitors' centre.
Mr Morris had gone into the park with few supplies, Tuggeranong officer in charge Greg O'Ryan said.
"We believe he is unfamiliar with this area and we do have some concerns given it was 24 hours since he was last seen," he said.
"If anyone has any information that may assist us or, indeed, if he tried to get a lift home throughout the night."
Mr Morris was described as a caucasian man about 180cm tall with a heavy build. He was last seen in dark grey tracksuit pants and hiking boots.
