Emergency services were called to the historic building on Ainslie Avenue just after 4.30am on October 16.
CCTV footage showed a hooded figure light one of the building's doors on fire before walking away.
Another fire was lit in a different part of the building while ACT Fire and Rescue were responding to the first blaze.
Director Joseph Falsone confirmed no artwork had been damaged in the blaze, and no one was at Gorman House at the time.
"It's a relief that nothing major happened and no one was hurt," he said at the time.
